When SSL is active, the URL with change from the usual http: to https: The 's' tells you your connection is to a secure site. An example is when you visit Ikea's site at http://www.ikea.com. Once you click to order, you will notice you're now at the URL https://www.ikea.com. The 's' tells you your information is protected by SSL. PayPal will ALWAYS use SSL during you payment transaction. Always check for the symbols or the https URL to be sure your properly connected.
